About Time

This site has been neglected due to a few commissioned projects that I have had the pleasure of working on over the last few months.

I've hatched up a Half Dozen Bloody Cocks that will be part of a group show at GravenFeather in Toronto. Opening reception is this Thursday November 7th. 7-10. Come say hi.

My Personal Lost Episode

Know what sucks?

Getting lost in the woods just outside a random town you've never been to with a dead cell phone.

Know's what's sweet?

After 6 hours of random wandering, finally finding your car with an owl perched in a flimsy tree at eye level 4 feet from your bumper.

An Interview With The Artillerist

I had the pleasure to participate in a little Q & A with The Artillerist.

Pen-Pals

A few people have inquired about my pen of choice:

Sakura Microns take up most of my pen collection.  They're acid free and archival. It's the best I've found so far but I'm always on the look out and up for trying anything.

And of course my favourite of Penns, Spicoli.

No Pen Intended,

the Maitlands

Here lies the Maitland's

house.

Beetlejuice was the coolest movie!.. when I was 8.  (It's still pretty rad.)  Honourable mention goes out to SANDWORMS! wutup!? One Halloween night not so long ago my love for the species transformed me into  A sandworm!   ( see below)

I couldn't decide whether or not this hilltop house needed some more background, after trying with a minimal BG,  I still like without better.

I made the house entirely of paper cut outs layered on separate plains.   Interesting fact:  The Beetlejuice house was never a house- just a bunch of facades put together to look like a house.  All interior shots were done in studio.

set up.   'nice fuckin' model'
